New connections: new customers
While all copy should inform and persuade, web copy has additional objectives: to boost search engine rankings and improve your website as an internet marketing tool. Potential customers are not the only ones reading this content. Search engine spiders are taking a keen interest too, checking this copy for relevance in search engine results.
Make your web copy work harder
Working with you and your web design team or agency, I’ll ensure your web copy is as relevant to search engines as it is to your customers. If your organisation has a style guide or tone of voice guidelines, I’ll adhere to them. If not, I can help you develop them if you wish.
I can provide you with MS Word documents for you to review or work directly in your content management system – whatever’s easier for you.
RPC
Leading London law firm RPC launched its brand new site in May 2016. As the site was being developed, I worked with the firm’s marketing and content teams to help keep the copy on brand and consistent with RPC’s style guide.
“Thanks again for all of your hard work. You’ve done a lot to help us shift our tone of voice and how we speak. It was a real pleasure working with you.”
Emma Sadowski, Marketing & Communications Manager, RPC – Law Firm of the Year, The British Legal Awards 2015
Blogs and social media
If you’d like to maintain a blog, but just don’t have the time, let me take care of it for you. Once we’ve worked out your blogging content plan, I’ll create engaging, searchable and shareable blog posts for you. I can also upload them to your site and post links to your blogs via your social media feeds using a central dashboard such as Hootsuite, if you wish.
